Wie wird die ADSON Mikro tissue forceps angewendet?
Unlike the dressing forceps surgical forceps are sharp-pointed and are used to grasp fibrous tissue. The jaws of the tweezers have interlocking sharp teeth (1 x 2 teeth), which are used to grip tissue very well and exert a stronger pull on the tissue. This means that the forceps do not need to be squeezed hard and the tissue is not crushed. The special feature of the ADSON micro tweezers is the very narrow jaw, which is only 1 mm wide.
Tissue forceps are used, for example, to grasp woand edges during surgical suturing. It should not be used on fragile tissues such as nerves, organs or blood vessels, as these may be injured. It it best to use dressing forceps to do this.
